Skiing in the Pyrenees

From the left: Me, Aitur, Inigo, Markel and in front Harri.

Yesterday I went skiing with Markel, my flatmate, and 3 of his friends. Got up at 5, left at 6 and came to Luz on the french side at 9. I rented some skiing stuff and up we were. With the student-pass the ticket was pretty cheap. …

What can I say – day was awesome. Allthough there were a lot of people and it was pretty warm – moist and heavy snow – I was enjoying it totally. And Aitur, the guy with the helmet (he really does need a helmet) is the craziest snowboarder I’ve met so far. Nothing was too steep, he took any hill, cliff, or whatever there was to lift him from ground. I never counted rotations, but I bet there were some 560° or even more… respect.

And we had pintxos (like tapas, but basque, bread with jamon and cheese) on the lift… we quit at 4 and at least I was totally exhausted.
